another moon haiku

setting the table
I catch a glimpse of the moon
supper might be late

another shot from earlier in the week
a mist in the air blurred the moon

  1. Gorgeous photos and a lovely Haiku Sandy.
I would rather be mesmerized by the moon than eat anytime :)

    1. So would I! Sometimes it is really cooking supper. I can see the moon rise out the front door and windows, and the sunset from the backdoor!

    Always trying, always fail
    The mood escapes me

I desire and will learn to write haikus. Love your photos too. So was dinner late.

    1. This is not a failure! I admit that I have been in a slump the past couple of years, but with practice, the lines come easier. Have a nice day!

  3. Now that is a blue moon! So very pretty. I am not sure if we will see clearer skies anytime soon! Lovely shots.

    1. Thanks, Christine. We have been having lots of cloudy days, some with snow. Your weather seems a lot like ours this spring. Are you still wearing your winter coat? I am! I didn't see the moon full this time at all. The bottom shot was taken with my macro lens. I like the way the sky looks with it.

    1. I will, Tammie. I found some photos of song sparrows in my files this morning, but don't remember ever seeing the dance.

    1. Yes, there is something magical about it. That is why it is one of my favorite things to photograph.

We are getting more freezing rain from this last storm than snow, at least down here on the coast. How about where you are?
