uh-oh

I accidentally deleted 255
photos yesterday from
my blog storage!

Instead of trying to replace them,
I have decided to make a new start.
As one of my good friends says,
live and learn!

Happy Holidays!

  4. I still don't know how I lost the photos. Anyway, I will just move forward and not worry about it.

    Are you ready for Christmas?

    2. Yes, I am all ready! Most of my family lives far away, so I start early with cards and things. I still have to make a Christmas Cake, though.

  5. well i haven't done that but i have accidentally deleted whole files of folders and then my computer has frozen and crashed at times and I have lost the photos I didn't back up. I learned by lesson for sure. Every time I take photos I send them up to the cloud. New starts are good thoiugh - i recently started one on my old main blog. Hope your holidays are great.

    1. I do have the photos in other places, but just couldn't face the task of putting almost ninety posts back together. Another of my blogging friends just restarted an old blog.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  6. I think that your attitude is wonderful.
The 'cloud' lost my entire computer calendar this summer. Maybe 8 or more years of life's details and things like, saw a fox, first snow, so and so passed, on and on. I struggled for hours over that and then let it go.

    1. Tammie, I just have to let it go. The only time I have put anything on a cloud was accidentally! Most of my photos are stored in my Aperture program, but I think it is being phased out for Macs.

We haven't had much snow yet, but I am pretty sure what we have will be around for the holidays. The best to you and your family!

    2. Yes, I did not know I was using the cloud and clicked something that i did not understand and gone was my calendar. I can not tell you how much i don't like the cloud system for a number of reasons.

we got 3" last night, but now it is above freezing with lots more to come. Not the best conditions.
