christmas music

This is an old haiku
from the days when I lived in the country
and
walked in the woods
on
Christmas morning
sometimes
on
snowshoes
and sometimes not
the chickadees were always with me

joyful notes resound
chickadees sing overhead
Christmas in the woods

    1. I just looked to see if you had chickadees in your country. Yes! So you know what jolly little guys they are.
