damsels and dragons haiku


autumn wildflowers
a flurry of meadowhawks
the full harvest moon




along the path
purple damselflies hover~
paper birch

    1. I walked to the mail yesterday for the first time in a year! A red meadowhawk followed me all the way home. That used to happen when I lived near the woods, but it was a first here.
